Who's Tired of Snow?

For the last couple of weeks we've been having snow off and on in huge loads. Each time it snows we need at least an hour to clean our cars to get going. We're already tired of snow :(. Here are a couple of cartoons to lighten the situation.

I learned from the county here, that in most cases (the Christmas blizzard it didn't work) it is better to pre-treat the sidewalks (like they do the roads). I will go out ahead of the storm, or very early during it, and get my rock salt on the sidewalks. Then when it is over, I don't have to shovel and I am the first in block to have my sidewalks cleared. Wish the city would learn a thing or two about that technique.

Still, I'm tired of all this crap and would like to move south.

Thanks for sharing the neat trick :). We are also planning to move to a warmer place, down south or the west coast! Let's see where we find employment, the job market looks pretty grim :(

update: after that winter storm I did move. I got married (Aug 2010) and the two of us packed up and moved to Austin, TX. Much less snow here. When it does snow its gone in about a day.

Of course right know we desperately need rain.
