U.S. Bank Announces Thirty Internet College Scholarships!

US Bank has announced its 12th Internet College Scholarship Program which is now accepting applications. The U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship program is available only through the Internet. It will award up to 30 college scholarships valued at $1000 each to graduates of the high school class of 2008. Scholarship awards for the past 11 years total more than $290,000.

Beth Dinndorf, manager of U.S. Bank Student Banking said:

"With the cost of a college education continuing to rise, a $1,000 scholarship from U.S. Bank helps students and parents cover the cost. Students and parents can use U.S. Bank's powerful search engine found at www.usbank.com/studentbanking to locate many scholarship programs. As a leader in providing student loans for more than 40 years, U.S. Bank is committed to helping students and families achieve their higher education goals."

Highlights

1. The U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program application is available exclusively via the Internet between now and February 29, 2008.
2. Scholarship award recipients are selected through a random drawing process.
   
3. Students who plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college in the fall of 2008 in a full-time course of study are eligible to apply.
   
4. They must also be a United States citizen or permanent resident alien, and graduate from high school during the 2007-2008 academic year.
