Citi is offering a 20% bonus on cash back earned on all purchases for first 12 months for their Cash Returns Master Card. Earlier Citi had promoted this card with a 5% cash back on ALL purchases for first three months.However we notice that now the cash back has been reduced to 1% on ALL purchases. With a 20% bonus on all cash back for the first year, the effective rate of cash back for this card is 1.20% on ALL purchases for the first 12 months.
We were wondering whether Citi will extend this offer to existing customers who had availed the promotional 5% cash back offer. Do you know anything about this offer being extended to existing customers? We'd appreciate your feedback.
