Welcome to a pithy 140th edition of the Festival of Frugality. It's based on a theme of frugal quotes. Before we get started on the festival, you may want to checkout our current giveaway of Dr. Davis Liu's fantastic book "Stay Healthy, Live Longer, Spend Wisely." If you are new to FIRE Finance, you can perhaps have a peek at our mission, or our posts on investing, retirement, frugal living and free money. Having said that, we feel that it'd really pay off to ease yourself into a relaxing chair with a drink of your choice to enjoy this huge festival to the fullest :).
Well, with that we've reached the end of this festival. We thank Jim for giving us an opportunity to host a Festival of Frugality. The next edition of this festival will be crafted by Almost Frugal. Heartfelt thanks to all for making this festival a success. Adieu till we meet again at another festival of joyful sharing.

I have three precious things which I hold fast and prize. The first is gentleness; the second is frugality; the third is humility, which keeps me from putting myself before others. Be gentle and you can be bold; be frugal and you can be liberal; avoid putting yourself before others and you can become a leader among men. - Lao Tzu
