- Stop Living Paycheck to Paycheck - The YNAB methodology along with the software will help you to aim and put effort towards living on the previous month’s income. Your earnings for the current month will be spent in the next month. Usually it takes around four to six months to accumulate enough money in savings to live on the previous month’s income. We feel that this is a very neat idea since it gives you a month's expenses in savings thus paving the way for your emergency fund.
- Give Every Dollar a Job - This concept will help you to allocate your funds to your spending and saving categories. Each of your hard earned dollar will be given a job, for example, rent, insurances, utilities, savings, emergency fund and the likes. - Prepare for Rain - The title says it all. This preparation helps you to amortize and save for your big ticket costs every month.
