July's Best of FIRE FinanceJul 31, 2014: July was renamed for Julius Caesar, since he was born in this month. Earlier, it was called Quintilis in Latin, since it was the fifth month in the ancient Roman calendar, before January became the first month of the calendar year. However in the Gregorian Calendar July is the seventh month of the year.

We like July since on an average, it is the warmest month in most of Northern Hemisphere. Another interesting fact about July is that Spring Lambs, born in late winter or early spring, are usually sold before July 1st. Also, the major league US baseball All-Star Game is played in the middle of July on a Tuesday. And let's not forget that we (Americans) celebrate our independence day on the 4th day of this month. With odes to a warm month, let's "Retro-July" .....
