In Dec 2006 we had opened a savings account at Bank of America. The account was opened online using a superb package of sign-up deals available at that time. We were expecting a bonus of $50 for the sign-up. Last week we received a check of $50 from BOA and a note thanking us for opening a savings account with them. Sweet!
We had opened a regular checking account with BOA in October 2006 to avail a superb $100 sign-up bonus. The funny part of this experience is that we have not yet received the bonus for the checking account yet we received the $50 sign-up bonus for the savings account which was opened a couple of months later!BOA's customer service has opened a research on our bonus for the checking account. Let us see where their research takes us. We have been exchanging quite a few emails and phone calls wrt to our $100 sign-up bonus for a regular checking account. Stay tuned, we will keep you posted about the final outcome of our efforts.
