Sunday Review #3 It was a fun filled afternoon. The football game kept us warm. We were rooting for San Diego though we knew that The Patriots would clinch the game. Then we had a long bout of reading various personal finance carnivals and festivals. Here are some of our favorites from this week's publications:
  • Kent from The Financial Philosopher presents Dying to Live: Death can visit us any time. It pays to observe our lives from that vantage point and do things that we really value.
  • Jon from On Moneymaking presents Stop Planning: 50 Ways to Improve Your Finances Today, tips and hints on ways to start taking action.
  • The Great Money Challenge has inspired us to try and tackle life with a minimum wage income. Its an interesting experiment and we will exercise it to see how we fare.
  • Gather Little by Little shows us how we can save money by doing home improvements and repairs ourselves. Not only that, the money we save will easily pay for any tools required and still save us money on each job.
  • Be Thrifty Like Us teaches us to use coupons and save money on car expenses. Coupons aren’t just for groceries anymore!
  • Millionaire Mommy Next Door has created a cool recipe for becoming a millionaire. To quote her: "Follow my recipe and you could - almost painlessly - become a multi-millionaire!"
