May's Best of FIRE FinanceMay 29, 2014: May has been named after the Greek goddess Maia. She was identified with Bona Dea, the Roman goddess of fertility, whose festival was held in May. It's also a month within the season of spring in the Northern hemisphere, and of Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.

Today we discovered a new fact about May. In Japan, there is a so-called 'May sickness', where new students or workers start to be tired of their new schoolwork or jobs. Wow! That calls for a break. Students in US should be thankful for the summer break. But sadly job holders like us get no break :(.

While looking forward to a great summer, let's "Retro-May" ...

It is interesting about students getting tired around May. I tend to find that the lighter evenings make me happier and more inspired to work.
